Term 2, 2025

This term, Miss Milly’s homeschool students will study Entomology, and the hidden helpers in our environment.
Students will learn about the smallest creatures who help make our world a better place. 
 
This workshop is CAPPED for maximum enjoyment of participants, so register early to avoid disappointment!

 

DAY: Fridays from 2nd May (week 2)

TIME: 9.00 – 11.00 a.m.

WHERE: Ascend Learning 

BRING: Morning tea, water bottle and wear closed-in shoes

ROOKIES CHESS CLUB

Term 2, 2025

ROOKIES CHESS CLUB is held on Monday afternoons, offering beginner students the FUNdamentals of chess, and intermediate players the opportunity to practise their chess skills with coaching and supervised chess play. Advanced players are welcome.

 

DAY: Mondays from 28th April (week 2) No session on 5th of May due to Labour Day Holiday

TIME:  one hour from 3:45 – 4:45 p.m.

WHERE: Ascend Learning

BRING: all materials supplied

ASCEND CHESS FIXTURES

NEW!  Term 2, 2025

CHESS FIXTURES* will be held on Thursday afternoons, offering weekly chess games, both individual and teams (no coaching).

Suitable for those with mastery of the fundamentals and etiquette of chess. 

 

DAY: Thursdays from 1st May (week 2)

TIME: one hour from 3.45-4.45 p.m.

WHERE: Ascend Learning

BRING: all materials supplied

REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL
