- Taste: Engage in safe, scientific taste tests using molecular gastronomy techniques, and see how technology can transform flavours.
- Smell: Analyse aromas and experiment in our sensory lab.

CHESS ACADEMY AT GLENNIE
Term 4, 2024
Our Glennie Chess Academy is suitable for students in Years 2-6 wishing to improve their chess skills and possibly represent their school in regional tournaments. This group is suitable for beginners through to advanced players, with an emphasis on coaching and skill development.
DAY: Tuesdays, commencing October 8th (week 2)
TIME: 3.45-5.30pm

ROOKIES CHESS CLUB
Term 4, 2024
Our ROOKIES Chess Club is designed for NEW and DEVELOPING students of chess.
The purpose of ROOKIES is to set students on the right path of learning, playing and appreciating chess. Many students lack a comprehensive introduction to chess and therefore do not understand the fundamental rules or develop poor habits. This may be easily avoided with correct coaching and an emphasis on proper etiquette as well as good sportsmanship.
DAY: Mondays from 14th October (week 3)
TIME: 3.45-4.30pm

KNIGHTS CHESS CLUB
Term 4, 2024
Our KNIGHTS Chess Club is designed for EXPERIENCED students of chess.
The purpose of KNIGHTS is to provide supervised games and competition to advance students’ skills. Prior knowledge of chess fundamentals is required. Coaching is provided to teach tactical and strategic skills.
Through chess, participants develop concentration skills, enhance their problem solving and creative thinking, as well as life lessons, such as consequences for their poor and/or positive decisions.
DAY: Thursdays from 10th October (week 2)
TIME: 3.45-5.30pm
