Tutoring Jobs
We are looking for tutors aged 18 years and over who are willing to be mentored by our experienced educators to help engage, extend and empower students to be extra-ordinary.
If you are currently completing an undergraduate teaching degree, this is the perfect job to allow you to gain amazing skills, techniques and processes to be an exceptional teacher.
If you are currently studying other undergraduate degrees, you may still utilise your organisational and planning skills, as well as your knowledge to engage with students to help them to achieve in the primary and/or secondary years
What qualifications do I need?
You must have a current Working With Children Card – category P for ‘PAID’. You must also have an Australian Business Number ABN.
There are no official regulations to become a tutor, but our process ensures that we work with individuals who share in our goals, values and principles. Our tutors complete our training and ongoing professional development.
All training will commence once you agree to the values, principles and conditions associated with Ascend Tuition. This will take the form of online and in-person training that is mapped out in the Training Manual.
